What's New?

This release includes changes to the following modules:
- In the Pupil Management module, SEN related lists now appear on Current Pupil details screens for records marked 'Not in Use' and search options have been enhanced.
- In the Academic Management module, a 'no marks' indicator as been added to four Markbooks ODBC views and the pupil name column now freezes to make completing interim reports easier.
- In the Calendar / Attendance module, users can now export their calendar in iCalendar format. For details, see Exporting your 3sysACADEMIC Calendar in iCalendar Format.
- In the Setup module, System Administrators can now install an Add Behaviour button on pages where Pupils related lists appear.
- You can record behaviour items as 'neutral' as well as 'positive' and 'negative'. For details, see About the Behaviour Management Module.
In addition, there are a range of improvements to the Pastoral Management module:
- Pastoral management record changes that you have not seen are highlighted with an Unread Changes flag.
- Notification settings have been enhanced so that System Administrators can tailor which alerts are received by staff.
- The Category Search screen provides more information.
- Additional information, including form details and pupil icons, have been added to pupil listing screens.
- Search options have been improved and users can now save multiple searches for re-use.
- The Record Reason Search screen has been improved.

Enhancements include:
- Extended options for managing blocked IP addresses, giving your school more control over system security. For more information, see the 3sysACADEMIC Setup User Guide.
- To help you meet GDPR requirements, new Communication module settings enable schools to restrict the types of email addresses available, ensure that the BCC field is used when emailing groups and that the appropriate email address is used to contact staff who are also related to pupils. - Ability to add a note to several pupil records simultaneously.
- Improved ways to access group data for academic and boarding house tutors and matrons.
- Added 'Polarity' columns in the Behaviour module views.
- To make it easier to view Pastoral Management record note content, improvements to text wrapping and formatting in key fields.
- Ability to print photos of all pupils in a boarding or academic house.
- Navigation aids, including the option to pin the left-hand menu so that it remains expanded, changes to the Application Setup menu to reduce the need for scrolling, and freezing the pupil name column when taking attendance.

- Additional SQA gender definitions.
- An added Section search field in the Pastoral Management module.
